Supercharger: 3-71

The original Detroit GMC 3-71 roots supercharger and part of the 71 series blower. It was developed for diesel engines and later modified for drag and then street and marine use. The 3-71 blower was used on the 3.5L / 213 cubic inch (ci) inline 3 engine that produced 113 hp. The 3-71 utilizes a 3 lobe design with a 30 degree helix.
